quotes Yeah I'll probably run 750mm, get a little more width for stability, but narrow it down so I don't catch anymore trees! Good thing is the fracture was perfectly clean, no displacement, and I should be back on it soon enough!

quotes Went from 710mm to 800mm, and unfortunately, this was the result of not being accustomed to the width:(

When the revised the 2 rail bike in 07, iir, they made the top tube too thin. I noticed it on the pro's bikes at a national and couldnt figure out what happneed. after 2 races on my bike (semi-pro) i had what looked like a large dent on my top tube. At first i thought i hit it on something but there was ZERO scratches where something would have impacted it. At the next national i was at i asked one of the yeti pros what was going on and they called it the "bird bath" ... apparently it was happening on all of the frames. the force from the upper rail was compressing the top tube and it was denting upon itself. i called yeti and they did NOTHING about it. the only reason i didnt pursue it was out of respect of my LBS and their relationship with yeti.

Fox has an oil that is specifically designed for the Kashima forks. That would be best, but If you can't get that any high end 10wt. is fine. I like Motul and Torco.
